 We are Southern/Central Italian-American twin brothers.[Yes we're also born toe-heads with blue-eyes. Seen here we are toddlers at The Furlano Home, which my grandfather Nicola[originating from San Nicola Da Crissa, Vibo Valentia a cabinet maker/veteran of WWI-his wife Mary DeRenzis, though born in Bristol,PA., afterwards with her parents Giovanni and Antonette had gone back for about 5 years to Montefalcone Nel Sannio, Campobasso in Molise-to sell their real estate. At Easter celebrations great-aunts and grandmother were always in discussion of the family member which had always traveled to Roma in order to do business with the King of Italia. Well, it just turns out to be that a certain Pasquale DeRenzis was indeed Prime Minister of Molise for one year of 1833]. So Nicola with his sons Nicholas (daddy) & John Domenic (uncle John), helped build an addition and update to its 'back then' present condition the Furlano Home at 616 Pond Street Bristol, PA. My grandmother's mother and father lived at the corner of Dorrance, and across from them was Calour's Italian Deli/Market. Yes, I just love the memory of it all!  It's funny how just a small snapshot can cause one to write his own recounting of things past. Let's you know the mind is an elastic band, playing its own musical notes, with each vibration.

 I just wanted to show simple humble beginnings which is part of our integrity of an 'old fashioned-new wave creativity' that sits in the minds of the two individuals found seated thus.Perhaps most of you come to agree that we are a great deal of our own folks and grand-folks or the 2 preceding generations in our characteristics and mannerisms.And that could be a grand universe since they pull theirs from the beyond of yesterday to the  present, then  again you have it with us little guys for the future looking also ahead another few steps,  though it were seeming at variance perhaps at another's perspective, its magnificence is wonderful because irregardless nothing can stop us from perpetuating the creative good into coming forth, which is the wellspring of our ancestors of Italia and Grecia. Or that as creative artists we have the opportunities to pull from the various extent of our own experiences and observations in order to create something which we hope to delight ourselves and then others back again with an entertaining experience back again giving, giving and giving. Kind of like (hopefully) one of the family favorite holiday 'recipes' which can always be enjoyed with the hosts of companions! Just like an old Italian meal I hope you will find it pleasurable to get to become acquainted with our creativity. Of course again we are only human!
